A trained oenologist with a diploma from Dijon, Michel learned the techniques of Champagne winemaking at Damery before leaving for the American continent, in California, to vinify a vintage.

The discovery of new methods, different techniques and ancestral know-how, through numerous experiences, enabled him to return to the family estate with new energy and bold ideas to create wines combining tradition and modernity.

Ambitious and curious, Michel has introduced the estate's wines to new markets. Thanks to his perseverance and frequent travels, the domaine is now represented in some thirty countries around the world: Belgium, Germany, Austria, Greece and Lithuania in Europe; the United States, Brazil and Canada; and in Asia, China, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.

Since 2021, Michel's two eldest daughters have been working hand in hand to produce exceptional wines as a family. Déborah, the eldest, is a vineyard manager, specializing in the cultivation of vines, while Sarah, like Michel, is now an oenologist. Salomé, the youngest, is studying business with a view to joining the family business.
